Chloe had training as a puppy. She was a sweet typical lap dog that suddenly started showing agressive tendencies towards strangers & household help when she didn’t want to do what was asked of her. We were very lucky to find K-9 Solutions. Having a well behaved dog is essential for a happy pet owning family. Kiba and us started learning from day 1. Carlos’ training style addresses the importance of the owners envolvement. Your dog sees you as his leader and he wants to please you. We loved that we were involved with the training not only was our dog learning, but we learned how to relate to our dog. Our dog came from a shelter with very bad habits… we thought we might not be able to undo what she already knew but now Nina is much easier to handle, walk, and have in our house. After loosing good training time with inadequate trainers when my two GSD’s were 5 months old, I was afraid to hire another trainer. I hired Carlos Puentes from K-9 Solutions, Inc. when they were 16 mo. old and a handful. I found Carlos was professional, firm, but always kind and loving with the dogs, honest and reliable. He is also patient with both dogs and the owner.
During the course of this training I have gone from total frustration over an uncontrollable dog, to the knowlegde of what we have to do, who is really the head of this pack (We are!) , and to much greater enjoy most of our time with Buddy. He’s still got a long ways to go, But we have been trained on how to handle him.

Carlos turned Lillie the dog from hell into a great dog. It was amazing to watch her learn, sit, down, stay, heel, the look in her eyes of love for Carlos. She might not be ready for Westminster but she’s a different little dog worth every penny.
K-9 Solutions was recommended by my veterinarian. Gina really knows her stuff. She is totally professional, knowledgeable and could get my puppy Harlow to do whatever she wanted in 5- 10 minutes. My biggest problems with Harlow were the barking and taking her out for a walk where she became the Alpha dog. Gina fixed these issues in about 5 minutes each. I now have a well mannered puppy and I am alot calmer. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Gina and K-9 Solutions to anyone who is looking for a good dog trainer.
Carlos is very professional in his methods and manners. He is an excellent trainer. He has a wealth of knowledge in the training areas and in all the other areas that pertain to a dog’s growth, well being and behavior. I would recommend him.

Before taking the training Sasha was a very hyper, nervous dog with seperation anxiety, now Sasha is much more calm and is able to be apart from me. With the methods used in the training Sasha learned very quickly and was able to do everything very perfectly.
